Rhein im Durchschnitt 3°C wärmer als vor 100 Jahren

Die Rheintemperatur an der deutsch-niederländischen Grenze liegt inzwischen drei Grad über dem natürlichen Niveau. Zwei Grad resultieren aus den Abwärmeeinleitungen (überwiegend aus Kraftwerken) entlang des Rheins und seiner Nebenflüsse, ein Grad ist bereits auf den Klimawandel zurückzuführen.
