Life is busy! I really believe that people want to make a difference; many just don't know how to fit volunteerism into their schedules. That's why I'm always looking for ways to help kids without making a huge, time consuming commitment.

Here are five ways you can help kids in the next fifteen minutes, without leaving your house.

1.
Send a Get-Well-Soon Card to a Hospitalized Child
2. Share the "Drunk Driving Poem"
3. Promote Reading: Share Books
4. Share Your Child Protection Ideas with the President's Advisors
5. Help Grant the Wish of a Seriously Ill Child

A little too easy? Here are five more ways you can help kids by spending just a few hours of your free time during the next week or so.

1.
Donate Coloring Books to Hopsital Emergency Rooms
2. Knit or Crochet a Teddy Bear for an Orphan
3. Become a Block Parent
4. Bake a Birthday Cake for an Underprivileged Child
5. Volunteer to Cuddle Babies at Hospitals

Check out CharityGuide.org for more quick, easy ways to make a difference for kids.

I think your ideas are great. Sometimes people don't think about the small things they can do to improve the quality of peoples lives. These are some beautiful suggestions
