Certain C2 Members never capitalize God's name. Now if you're talking about Mythalogical gods like Zeus or Apollo, you don't have to capitalize.

But when you're talking about God, the One who made the universe, created every cell in your body, the One who came to Earth in the body of Jesus then yes, His name needs to be capitalized.

It is very disrepectful not to capitalize His Glorious Name.  God means everything to me and when I read a story where one of my friends write: "Thank god my family is okay." It's like raking long fingernails across a chalk board not to mention what it does to God. It must the heck out of Him...and this is the reason I bring it up.

Think how much God s you. He s  YOU MORE THAN YOU WILL EVER KNOW.  So please, try showing Him a little respect by capitalizing His Name.

It may not say it on money anymore but "In God I Trust!"

Thank you God for creating all the wonderful animals who are companions to so many people and I ask that you would protect them from all danger, protect them as you did the manger on that cold and wintry night, when the Angels never let baby Jesus out of their sight! (copyright 1977)

I also ask that you would bless and protect all my C2 friends each and every second of each and every day. They are treasures in my life and I thank you for each and every one of them. Like sands on the beach they're too many to name but I know you know who they are.

Talk to you more later God...Barb

I hope this is an example of how much I Love and Respect God. Maybe it will be contageous!!

Footnote: I entered God's name in to the tags and they de-capitalize it so I removed it so I won't confuse anyone.

dear barbcat,
my hopefully soon to be friend
I agree with your sentiment but most of the world knows god by many other names;
a rose still smells as sweet with a capital "S" or "s"
i am exclusively Christian bred born and raised and baptized too yet the nearer i
come to GOD the more clearly and dearly I know a person of many-many-many names who is
neither political nor religious but just a person who made all creation and endorses
only YOU!

I whole-heartedly agree. It makes me gringe when I read God's name demeaned in such a fashion. He is the one and only God, not "a god"

As much as Steve loved animals I think it would be a very nice thing to make Steve an honorary member of Care2. This is the best gift I can think of to give to his family.
