1 cup quick oats
1 cup "Grape Nuts" or store brand equivalent
1/4 cup gound flaxseeds
1/4 tsp. salt
1-1/2 cups milk, soymilk, rice milk, or equivalent
1-1/2 cups water
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine quick oats, "Grap Nuts", ground flaxseeds, and salt into mixing bowl - set aside. Combine milk, water, and vanilla into medium-large saucepan. Heat over medium heat until almost boiling. Gradually add the dry mixture, stirring constantly. Continue to stir constantly until mixture returns to a boil. Remove from heat and let set for 2 minutes. Divide mixture into 4 cereal bowls and serve. May be served with milk, soymilk, butter, margarine, sugar, honey, maple syrup, fruit preserves, chopped fruit and/or nuts, or other toppings of your choice.
