When the fur is finally peeled off over the animals' heads, their naked, bloody bodies are thrown onto a pile of those who have gone before them. Some are still alive, breathing in ragged gasps and blinking slowly. Some of the animals' hearts are still beating five to 10 minutes after they are skinned. One investigator recorded a skinned raccoon dog on the heap of carcasses who had enough strength to lift his bloodied head and stare into the camera.

Before they are skinned alive, animals are pulled from their cages and thrown to the ground; workers bludgeon them with metal rods or slam them on hard surfaces, causing broken bones and convulsions but not always immediate death. Animals watch helplessly as workers make their way down the row.

I think this is wrong to do this to any animal and I think we should take the law into our own hands and do the same thing to the people that do this to animals

i read on a petition, that the fur traders made the statement that maybe they should take the activist and skin them to make clothes out of...

so i agree with joan, that turn about is fair play. this situation with furs, like many other animals being killed, will be a war eventually.

but all that is needed, is for fashion designers to be more imaginative with the many fabrics in existence today. its not like we have to wear fur like cave days anymore. there is beauty in fashion in others ways, but then that would take some thought or imaginations to be creative and make something original?? seems the fashion industry would rather put their name to something that was already made from animal, then to utilize from scratch something new? making easy blood money is what it is. fake fur looks so darn real, no one would know the difference, what is wrong with this idea? geez would take some imagination to do that, forgot designers are stupid and have no creativity of their own!

such extreme cruelty can only be stopped when the people in China demand basic animal protection against cruel treatments on their local elected officials who i heard are often corrupted and independent of the officials in peking. there are animal rescue people who are compassionate there, they just need power and influence.
