Please send this message to your Senators and Representative to urge them to take immediate action to secure Dhondup Wangchen's release from prison.

Dhondup Wangchen, a Tibetan detained by the Chinese government for making the film, “Leaving Fear Behind,” was arrested in March 2008, after completing the documentary. He is currently awaiting trial. His family reports that the lawyer of his choice, Li Dunyong, was removed from his defense and has been threatened with disbarment. The family additionally fears that the health of Dhondup Wangchen, who suffers from Hepatitis B, has deteriorated significantly in detention.
