Three of these dogs are being rescued by an independent rescuer, Debb Cohen. Marshall, Rusty, and Finn. In spite of getting tons of emails begging her to help them and people promising or making pledges, she has only received $90:
only $90 dollars donated to vet all these seniors with health issues.

I really dont understand all the hundreds of emails to save them and then so many dont keep their pledges.

Subject: URGENT CORRECTION: 3 Sad Seniors.. Rescued By- S.T.I.C.K.S. ORG/debb Asheville NOT Smiling Dog Farms. Need $$$ for their care. CONFIRMED .....
Friends, sometimes we get erroneous information on these rescues. I apologize that wrong information was sent out yesterday. These 3 seniors are NOT being rescued by Smiling Dog Farms – but by S.T.I.C.K.S.ORG. It is confirmed. Please consider helping Debb who has worked tirelessly to save these elderly pets in need of medical care and loving foster homes for their remaining days. Some could look aside and ignore their need, but this group has found a way to bring hope and happiness where there was none. So folks, please consider helping this group to help these seniors. They also saved the Momma and her pups that were in grave danger yesterday. Your donation allows them to save and care for more pets in need. One person cannot do it all – but together – everyone helping a portion – WE CAN MAKE A HUGE DIFFERENCE and SAVE LOTS OF PETS. Thank you.

From Debb:

If you can help with their elder care I am 501c3 and your donations are tax deductible and

Greatly Appreciated!

The 3 sad seniors have a foster home waiting for them in North Carolina.

They will be pulled under S.T.I.C.K.S ORG./ DEBB

The seniors were never going to Texas at all.

They now have a chance at family life in a home! They will stay as long as they

want to or need to as fosters of S.T.I.C.K.S---most likely as permanent fosters to live

their life there as long as they are happy there!!!

Yes, they do have medical issues and we know for sure there will be bills and one is hw low positive

and has a leg infection.

Two of them still sit all curled up in balls at animal control one is terrified and one shakes all the time.

That is why they needed a FOSTER HOME and not another cage to life in.

The 3 of them need a ride from Summerville GA to Rocky Mount NC this weekend...if anyone would

like to do a great thing and drive them to a safe place. The ride to NC is all that is left to work out for

them. Thank you. Debb.

Debb Cohen like Jennifer Smith at Noahs.arks is a tireless rescuer. She has no facility in part because she believes in dogs being placed in foster homes and these old dogs are a big undertaking. I would appreciate any help you could get her by circulating the need for donations to your friends.

If donating for the 3 Summerville Seniors please put this in the remarks for your donation at paypal or notify Debb directly how much you donated and that it is for them. She fundraises for lots of dogs she takes into her foster program. This way she will know it is for these particular dogs.

More news on these guys:

Tuesday Update: 3 Seniors ..from foster.........

Just a quick update on my new babies. Finn is in the house and underfoot a lot. The other dogs are feeling their way
with him, still a little unsure. They let me pet them and rub their back and a little bit of belly. Rusty will stick his head in
the back door, but they still won't come in. I worked second shift today and they were looking for me when I came in.
I have pictures but there is a little trouble moving them to email. I will try to work on that tomorrow. Boy!! do they need a bath
but that is going to wait until they trust me a little more. They have been treated for fleas. I keep picturing what they will look
like a year from now. Debb, I don't want them to go anywhere else. And I think they want to stay here. The money will come
from somewhere. I will send more tomorrow. Lou
