Warning this is GRAPHIC - the WORST I HAVE SEEN

When I think of people right here on care2 that try and justify this, I want to literally VOMIT

RE: "Researchers" tattoo the word CRAP on a monkey.(graphic)

Still think this is ok and necessary? I'd love to hear how it's justified..feel free to contact me directly.

Please repost this far and wide, we all need to work together to enlighten others and to end this horrible cruelty forever!

from: Real Men Don't Hurt Animals. *The Meaning Of Vivisection*
Vivisection is the cutting into or dissecting of a live animal. Billions of non-human animals have been burnt, crushed, sliced, electrocuted, poisoned with toxic chemicals, and psychologically tormented in the name of scientific curiosity. What have we learned from all of this suffering? That animal research is inherently unethical, inevitably wasteful, and wholly unreliable. The U.S. squanders approximately $18 billion per year on animal experiments, much of which is funded by taxpayers, even though alternatives are less expensive and can be used repeatedly. And what do we get for our dollars? "Too much suffering for too little knowledge

*Life as a Test Subject*
Even in the absence of the actual experiments, these animals lives are still nightmarish. They spend their short lives in small, locked cages with the bare minimum of food and water. Thats as good as it gets--some arent even afforded clean water or adequate food. Many lab technicians have observed empty water and food dishes, but only a percentage of them report such neglect.

*What Can You Do*
In order to effectively help animals in laboratories, we must remember to seek nothing less than their release and freedom. If we settle for improvements such as bigger cages or better breeding conditions, their liberation will be that much harder to obtain. They do not belong in laboratories or auctions in the first place. In helping them, we must remember our goal: the animals absolute freedom.
EDUCATE YOURSELF and SHARE WHAT YOU LEARN WITH OTHERS. By knowing facts about the cruelty and scientific futility of animal experimentation, you will be able to speak intelligently about this sensitive issue. Speak out whenever you can, to your newspapers editor, your neighbor, co-workers, family, friends, and whenever the topic arises. Voice your opinion and back it up with the facts.

The cat was blinded by enucleation of both orbits (removal of the eyeballs), his head was clamped in a head holder, his penis nerve was surgically exposed and then subjected to continuous electric shocks until termination (i.e. the animals death), according to the experimenters own official description.

I can say one thing about these monsters. When they die, they will relive this over and over. They will be punished for what they have done! They may think they are being good and only doing this to save mankind, but God is against this, and they will be made to pay for what they have done. We can only hope that whatever they used on these innocents, that they will live this way for the rest of their lives.

Oh my goodness....that really was educational. I didn't like the pictures but I'm gonna LOOK. Animal testing is UNNECCESSARY! I betcha these people get OFF on doing this to animals legally cos they knew they'd get caught if they were abusing animals in the streets. This is just the same thing....we need to take the legal out of it.

yes, i agree with you all. Especially when mustang beam says, the pictures are horrible but i will LOOK at them. yes, they are disturbing but ignorance is NOT innocence. it makes me SOOO f*ing angry when people say "oh, i cant look at that, it makes me sad." F* you....it makes them sad?! Well it makes me sad, it makes me angry, and yes i have cried my eyes out many times becasue of it, and had night mares and unexplainable fear. but i have learned from it and decided to make diff decisions in my life because of it. It makes me sad too but at least i am not turning my back or looking the other way. That is almost the same thing as saying they approve of it. so if it really does make you sad...dont look the other way, there are so many awesome cruelty free companys, so if the pictures disturb u that much, ok dont look at them i understand that, but dont say "oh i cant it makes me sad" and then do nothing....sorry i am so long winded lol, just blowing off some steam. and its nice to know i can do it where other ppl will understand what im talking about ....

I was under the impression that it was Gods will that nature, inclusive of animals, “replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion…over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.” (The Holy Bible, King James Version). How can you say that they will be punished for what they do when the bible tells them that nature is there but to sserves mans purpose. The problems arise when humans think to separate themselves from other animals, because that is all we are and to make that distinction is to attempt to justify any human behaviour. Waiting until someone dies for them to be 'punished' wont stop animal cruelty and is not an acceptable attitude to take in regard to the monsterous actions of experimentation in the name of scientific advances.

Gandhi said that a measure of a country's greatness can be observed in how it treats it animals. All countries allowing the practice of vivisection fall short, to say the least. What frightens me is the cruelty exhibited by the lab technicians, sadists. How did humanity come to fall this low? It is very disturbing to see a pattern of sadism towards animals in all the so-called "developed" countries. How can these lab workers face themselves in a mirror? How do they sleep at night? Most of the vivisectors are men. Do they go home and beat their wives and kids? It takes a truly lost soul to devise these horrific experiments and to perform them with no thought for the animal. They will be punished. It is a given. Dominion does not mean abusing animals or anyone else. It means exercising authority over ... a far cry from burning a beagle puppy just for the heck of it, and in a lab in Shriner's Hospital? The horror and fear and excruciating pain displayed in these images will stay with me forever. These are human beings performing these atrocities? They are no better than Mengele at Auschwitz! God sanctions this in the name of dominion Get real! Children in England sing, "God sees the little sparrow fall, it meets his tender view. If God so loves the little birds I know He loves me too." I believe that. For every action, there is a reaction. These people will pay. Maybe not in this world. But in the next. I count on it. I hope they suffer every pang of pain and fear that they have inflicted on the innocent, defenceless creatures who had the misfortune to fall into their hands. I call on the the Lord God to right these wrongs now.

As long as man lives, there will be sadistic scum all over the world. I detest this scum but all govenments are corrupt and there is nothing we can do about it unless we are willing to take the law into our own hands and give these scumbags a taste of their own medicen. sorry about the spelling.
