As Ellsberg says, there is no victory ahead in Afghanistan. Even present generals say that most of the country has been taken over by militants. We are LOSING the war there, if one can call it that. It is more like an occupation with no winning, just like Vietnam.

Short of 200,000 or more troops, we cannot hold the country. Then however, those troops need to stay in order to hold it, FOREVER.

Are we prepared to pour borrowed money from Communist China into a country that poses no threat to us?
