In an effort to increase the efficiency of our services, we will be purging old messages in the Private Message folders. To bring us in line with the current policy, will be taking the number of stored messages down to 1000 per user, and this change should not affect most Care2 members.

This will affect any users that have stored over 1000 personal messages.  If you have any important information stored in your inbox that you wish to save, we ask that you transfer or copy this information at this time as we will begin the clean-up process shortly.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we work to make your Care2 experience more speedy and efficient.

If you would just make it easier to delete old stuff there wouldn't be that much "stored." IT people have no common sense.

To empty your trash you go to your message folder. On the top, left hand side there is a link that says "Personal Messaging" click on it and it will take you to the page to clean out your trash.

Thank you for the alert. I have less than the one thousands. But I do have some images stored that I will store in another place because they are quite large files.
