RE: THE FWD "HE IS AWESOME" - PEACE & HARMONY TO ALL

Dear Friends I have this am received a msg from one on my friends list [a new friend] who has asked me to remove him because of a fwd I sent. [Of course I have obliged him by removing him from my friends list]!!!

This fwd I sent to many of you "He is Awesome" I did not find it offensive in any way - I am not a "religious fanatic"which was suggested - but - I do apologise to any of you who were indeed offended by my forwarding this on to you - it was sent to me by one of my beautiful friends whom I admire and I saw no harm in sending in on to you.

My beliefs are KINDNESS, TOLERANCE AND RESPECT for all others and their beliefs.

Wishing you a wonderful week filled with love, laughter and many magikal moments with your loved ones.

It's difficult to judge without seeing the "offending" forward, but I may understand. There was a time when I was being constantly bombarded with attempts to "convert" me. and for many of these people, it seemed that every five words or so they had to inject "PRAISE Gaw-duh!" No idea who they were imitating, but I finally threatened to punch the next one. Of course, absolutely everything good or incomprehensible was GAW-duh's doing, and of course the annoying so-and-so I was trying to talk to at the time saw my being so irritated as being "under conviction." I wasn't. I was pissed, and when he appended the usual praise, I punched him. Left him sitting there bleeding. At least they FINALLY got the idea and left me alone after that. A lot of people, though, see this kind of thing as an imaginary friend for adults who can't handle ife, or more likely, death, on their own. To such people, this is insanity and they want nothing to do with it. So take your choice: annoying, pestering Christians, or no desire to associate with perceived whackos.

Jaclin, i was not offended by your send. Although i tend to be an atheist, at the least agnostic, i do tolerate and respect all other and their beliefs, and appreciate your kindness.

What I believe is that everyone has a right to their own beliefs as long as they do not try to foist them onto others - tolerance is a must - because we do have folk who believe that if we do not come under their religious umbrella then we are fated to be doomed - and that is their entitlement to believe that.
I believe whatever will be will be - I am not religious - I am tolerant of others and their beliefs and do not judge - everyone marches to the sound of a different drum - kindness is not hard to extend. Love & Light to All.
