My life goes in cycles – as does everyone’s I suppose.

When things are going brilliantly for some stretch of time – it is almost inevitable that it turns south somehow.

It seems that almost always I am blind sided by the so-called ‘event’ that causes this collapse in good times – the most recent turn of events is no exception.

Lately it seems that as hard as I try to stay away from drama, it hunts me down and tries to envelope me.

No matter how detached I remain from gossip, backbiting and all around sneaky underhanded behavior, it seems to always be lurking near me – no matter how hard I try to pray it away from me!

I’m not sure what it could be.

Is it something I am inadvertently doing?

Is it the devil always nipping at my heels?

I am just not sure.

The one thing I am sure of is that I want EVERYONE in my life to LEAVE ME OUT OF YOUR MESSES!

I rebuke your drama in the name of Jesus!

I am so frustrated with other people’s mess!

I just want peace.

After much thought on the subject today, I have decided (after a lot of prayer and reflection) that I need some prayer and isolation from the outside world.  So I am ducking out for at least a week – I just can no longer be bothered with all of this pettiness – the phone is off, the internet offline and my life will be full of faith, family, reading, church and peace.

All the chaos from outside and from other peoples lives can stay with them – I am NOT involved.

I apologize to anyone this may seem harsh to, but if only you knew my life, you’d see that I have absolutely no room or time for the silliness I see brewing.

May peace be with you, as I certainly pray it be with me.
