Out on the ice...

There was a loud knock at my front door this morning. When I answered it I found my neighbour looking very upset, asking for help. She was worried about a kitten that had gotten out on the ice of the creek.

She went to watch over the kitten, and I got dressed. When I made it down to the creek the kitten was safe and sound, hidden under someone's steps.

Dana came in to open the bookstore. I went over to visit, then went out to do some errands.

After supper I stayed at the house and sorted through some more of my old photographs....

I went out to the farm to help Mom and Dad process the cattle. When I went out to bring them in, I got them first try. But Dad had left one of the gates open, so I had to get them again. I'm glad that Dad got a quad, or I would have been running.......
