I am sure everyone already knows that our health care reform bill has passed through its first critical stage in Congress! Now the work for each of us begins, getting the Senate off their butts, and from dragging their feet, so they can get "their version" hammered out, where the real voting on the final bill comes. It is a lengthy process, but I still carry a great deal of faith, that when it boils down to the "cream" standing on top of the milk our Representatives and Senators will do the right thing!
Of course, we are not even half way up the mountain yet, but if you look very closely with your binoculars, you will be able to see the rising Sun on the other side of this mountain.

I am patting myself, as well as each of you, for all of your daily efforts, from informing others, getting petitions together, keeping up with all of the mounds of information about these health care reform bills, making phones calls, sending emails, knocking on doors, being out in front of places with signs and peaceful demonstrations... plus giving donations to certain places that are helping to get a monumental very first bill, after 5 plus decades of failure... it appears we shall be victorious this time. If is was not for us, the people that make up this incredible nation, I sincerely think the health care reform bill would never have made it this far. That is why I feel we should be feeling extremely proud of all of the hard work we put into this history making situation.

We celebrate this first victory, as we now trudge on up the mountain, and jump the next hurdle with the Senate.

I hope you have a good Sunday, and congradulate yourself for a victorious job very well done.

I can't believe anyone would feel this overhaul of our antiquated health system is a bad thing. It certainly is not working now, and costing us billions in fraud, and re-testing over and over again, plus a hudred other things wrong with it.
