Good Boat Rocking in the Bronx - Home Run!

Full cycle learning comes when you can teach someone else what you have learned. Here is young people in the city learning there is nothing they cannot do, if they put their minds and bodies to it. Even building a boat for the Hudson River from tree up!

Rock the Boat-- Bronx Style

I recently attended a fundraiser for Rock the Boat, an organization based in the South Bronx helping kids empower themselves in their own community. They do this by running workshops that teach kids to build traditional wooden rowing boats—from scratch.
