Hello everyone! I've been meaning to send updates but with scheduling and time difference, I wasn't able to do so until now. I also posted these updates on the Discussion tab of the group.

Thank you all for joining and caring for Mima. And, thanks to our friends and members from Bulgaria for helping us translate and contributing to updates in the frontlines.

LATEST NEWS ON MIMA:
Mima was moved yesterday to her new caregiver's home. Photos of this were posted on the group album. Four Paws and another foundation are involved in caring for Mima. Four Paws is a wonderful organization and I trust they want nothing but the best care for her. They will create a fund for Mima after all the vet evaluations. We will then have a place where we all can donate. We will update as soon as we get that info.

the title is: Good news! Mima arrived at her new home.
One of the woman in the video says when they had come to her for the first time (because Mima was in Dryanovo and they came from Ruse) and when they came to pet her, tears burst from dog`s eyes. This poor, poor little soul have been through unbelievable pain. I cried when I saw her eyes. Even now I still can see the pain.

They will not put her to sleep. They will do anything to help her and give Mima all the love and care she needs now. The dog will become the symbol of changing the laws in Bulgaria and we hope this will never ever happen again.

TALKS OF NEW ANIMAL CRUELTY LAWS:
Another hopeful news is that Bulgarian lawmakers are now proposing mandatory jail sentence for animal cruelty cases. Of course, as we've seen in many cases around the world, laws are laws but it all depends if these laws are actually implemented. Please lets all keep the pressure on and make sure this happens!

So far, we're winning by a big margin, 96% from the last post. It's scary to think what the actual number is of that 4% of the voters lacking of empathy!

The Petition has now reached to 6,307 signatures!!! It's hard to believe it just had 72 signatures when I first signed it less than 48 hours ago!! ))
