Sometime this year I'm going to have surgery on my brain. It's some kind of strange surgery where the neurosurgeon will remove some of the fibers that connect one half of my brain to the other half. I have had seizures all of my life. Removing a few of those fibers will keep the electrical current from running from one side to the other which causes most of the seizures. Only a few of the fibers will be cut. If they cut all of them, well, my brain would not be able to send any signals at all from one side to the other. My sister will be driving up from Connecticut to consult with my doctor. I have the greatest sister anyone could ask for.
