channeling/ possesion

I have been experiencing what I consider to be channeling of spirits at different times, but I dont know how to regulate what comes in and how to release the spirits once they're in. I've also been wondering if it is possible to trap a spirit inside of my body while my own is still present? and can i trap someone's spirit that is still alive?

Yes you can trap spirits in you, even live ones. (Though in most channelings you don´t take them inside but just let them talk through you.) Ask your power animal/helper to regulate what comes in. Most of the time it´s enough to ask them to go home again but I guess they can choose to be trouble... Are you sure that you want them inside? there are different ways of communicating...
