While the news media slept and Congress
collected its payoffs, the US was handed
over lock, stock and barrel to the oil and
gas industry during the Bush administration.

The catastrophe in the Gulf of Mexico
(and soon to be the Atlantic Ocean) is
only the most obvious consequence.

Here's another one. Unreported. Every bit
as catastrophic.
