Have we been bamboozled with the idea that thought vibrations not only are a thing of reality, but that they actually effect what happens to us in our lives? This question may strike a nerve in some people for a variety of reasons. Some may be tired of hearing the question ‘to be or not to be‘ believers in the law of attraction . Others may be like myself and just a bit weary of the law of attraction being thought of as a concept attributed to belief instead of understanding it as an existing unchangeable law. In either case or whatever reaction may arise, the question still remains in the minds of many as to whether the claim that personal thoughts effect and shape our world holds any validity worth paying any mind to.
It is a little bit complicated when it comes to having faith in the law of attraction and it’s relationship to thought vibrations. It isn’t like turning to a new religion, but belief and faith are two essentials to intentional thought applications. It may serve us better to see it as an understanding of a fixed law where belief and faith come in degrees in which the fixed law effects the energy derived from thoughts.
At most we may ask, if I have thoughts of a beautiful shining sun on a rainy day, will my thought vibrations immediately chase away the clouds and allow for the attracted beams of sun rays to head my way? If not, than how much thinking is necessary to reach the promise land of our so called law binding thought attractions? These questions may seem comical or sarcastic, but they are very valid questions. We are dealing with the validity, or some may feel the audacity to claim our thoughts create our world as if GOD has nothing to do with it. Right?
However when we eat certain foods to take care of the health and the functions of our bodies, those of us who believe in God aren’t claiming a lack of His hand in the matter. Therefore the same logic should hold true in applications of positive thought energy that is put into how we think in order to take care of developing the kind of life we choose to live. What we put into our bodies and our minds reflects in our physical and mental well being. I think it is fair to say the practice of applying the law of attraction to our lives is not a reflection on belief in GOD at all. Whether one does or does not believe in GOD and/or the law of attraction, will not change the existence of ether. As they are true, they simply will continue to be true.
The real question to ask is to what degree are we able to make things happen by way of thought vibrations. I don’t feel I can control the weather, turn water into wine, split the red sea, or even defeat a giant with a mere stone flung from a sling, but I can tell there is a major difference in my outlook, receptivity, and ability to apply myself when I am feeling success in an endeavor is only steps away. In the simplest degree of reality it is a very basic common sense. If you don’t think you can achieve a goal, you will not try to apply the necessary attempts to achieve it. Otherwise if you think you can achieve you will put forth efforts to reach the accomplished goal depending on the amount of desire the achievement is fueled with.
There are all sorts of feelings and reactions that take place in our lives on conscious And subconscious levels. Then there are habits that have formed and ways of feeling and responding to things that come into play as well. So it may not always just be faith and belief that contribute to the outcome of intentional thought applications.
What may seem like duds or a misfiring of belief due to failed attempts in seeing desired results from applying positive thinking, could be the result of unseen obstacles that need to be worked through as well.
Therefore the matter of whether we have been bamboozled can be logically concluded as unlikely. It can be narrowed down to three scientific findings and a wide range of degree in our past experiences as well as faith and belief in what’s conceived as accomplishable. The law of attraction is one finding, how it applies energy is the second finding, and thoughts being energy and therefore subject to the law of attraction is the third finding. Range may vary do to experience, belief and faith, but when repetition and diligence are apart of the application for intentional thought attracting there is bound to be growth. In time we may or may not evolve to where we are walking on water, but to find out how far we can go, we must first begin to start applying the works and diligently stick with it to develop results.
