I cannot recall a time in recent memory where I was ever able to read a newspaper, or watch TV, or read a magezine in the same day without hearing something leud, degrading, or otherwise insulting to the Christian faith.

I turn on the TV and Comedy Central portrays Jesus as a homosexual, a deviant, and a con-artist. I watch Law and Order and Christians are portrayed as child mollesters, and brain-washed zombies. I read the news paper and Christians are blamed for everything but stale bread, and Jews targeted for simply protecting their country.

We've been forced to endure hatred and blasphemy for decades, and are expected to continue. Yet when the Pope quotes a 700 year old transcript of a debate between a Byzantine Christian Emperor named Manuel Paleogos II, and an educated Persian Muslim on the issue of forced conversion (and even criticizes the Emperor for his remarks!) all of a sudden Muslims all over the world cry for "justice"; while encouraging their sons and daughters to kill innocent people for simply not buying into the hatred propogated by the "prophet".

Well, I'm with the Danish cartoonists on this one. I think we need a little more criticism about Islam and its prophet. That or the Muslims can learn live in peace with the world around them.

Easy for you to say, we're not at war with Christianity!

I watch Law and Order too and I have never seen one episode where ALL Christians were portrayed as child molesters and brain-washed zombies - it would be rather hard considering that more than half of the characters are Christians themselves...
So it would be nice if people separated the religion of a perpetrator and the religion itself.

SOME Muslims encourage their children to kill "innocent" people (though how innocent for example George W. Bush is can (and should) be discussed.) MOST Muslims do not encourage their children to kill anyone. If you had Muslim friends you'd know that they are just like everyone else - people.
SOME Christians do things they shouldn't do. SOME Christians ARE child molesters. Trying to deny any connection between any representative of Christian faith and any crime or immoral action etc. is just stupid. Just as stupid as trying to prove the guilt of any religion by referring to single perpetrators...

I was under the distinct impression genocide was a bad thing, a crime so heinous it did not even have a name until the conclusion of World War II. A crime so great we believed only sovereign states to be capable of, until the Rwandan people showed us ...

I'm a man who simply thinks homosexuality is wrong, much less sex with minors of the same-sex. Mark Foley allowed himself to be politically exploited by indulging in such a taboo fantasy, and as such he resigned his position and is now under investiga...
