sounds like GERMANY, but its not.

She is arrested for doing NOTHING wrong.
The police call her reading material
(the books they found in her car) propaganda, and she is labeled as a militant.

Thanksgiving

This is a comment by me, from a post at myspace.
someone mentioned how "good we have it" here in the US,
and that even though our current admin might not be perfect, we are still "BETTER" than other countries.

My comment below....

 Instead of focusing on how good we do have it,
lets focus this holiday,
on how good the Iraqis DONT ?

You know, the ones who are DEAD ?
and their families ?


655, 000 Iraqi's are DEAD, that would not have been.

So, like some people on this board might say,
its not my fault ?

Well, guess what ? IT IS !

We voted this idiot into office, and anyone who didnt do everyting they could have to stop him, and this war, are at fault..
I didnt vote for him, and i marched against this war from day 1 screaming at the top of my lungs.
Still, i could have done more, we ALL could have.

ALSO....
The ONLY REASON we have it "so good" is that our forefathers fought for whats RIGHT.
If we keep this LAZY US attitude, and not get invloved in our government,
then, our government will NOT be better ....
GET IT ?

They KNEW there were no
WMD, this war was based on a  LIE.

We let our governmet be taken over by large corporate interest,
 and people who care more about power and money, than lives.

IF we let him get away with it, it sets a precident,
that other future leaders may follow.
THEN, we will not be the U.S., you are reffering to.

Do you think theres no chance of this country becoming so divided that there is some retaliation ?
Thats why they are looking into
 FEMA camps and pushing the Patriot Act.

You are either with "US", or with the terrorist right ?

The future is in your hands, whether you like it or not.
Be responsible.

Incidentally, funny you mention Syria.
Syria is run by Bathists, as was Iraq.
We thought we could show them a better way...
(actually, that was NOT the reason for war, if you remember)
but, we are now putting the Bathists BACK in power,
since OUR idea, failed.
Syria has fredom of religion, they can hold pulic demostrations (with a permit),
they have more women in government han we do.
Why do we always think these countries are backwards ?
Why do we always think we are BETTER somehow ?
what does BETTER mean in your vocabulary ?

IM not sayig this is my idea of a "perfect government",
but there is none (perfect) that i can see.

AND, if there was, they shouldnt try to impose
THEIR idea of perfect on the rest of the world.
