Eveytime I open the Care2 network, I feel a trillion invisible arms around me! My heart opens and at once I become more then I ever dreamed possible!
You give so much, because you care so deeply and all I can say at the start of 2007, a sacred new year, is somewhere, somehow, in my past I made the decisions that led me to all of you and I am forever grateful!!
If I could offer one gift personally to each person in Care2, it would be:
'Pick up a mirror, look deeply into it and realize you are truly the greatest gift that was or ever will be. And that face you see in the mirror, I love unconditionally!

You are so kind, Joy Angel. You are a mirror of the kindness you receive; a beautiful reflection on the water of love. It is YOUR kindness that uplifts Care2. We just reflect it back to you!
Blessings and love to you!

Thank you for reminding us about all the open hearts & souls sharing together here at Care 2 (. . . such a joy and a blessing!) Hugs, S.R.

To Joy: Your feelings are what I feel too. We are children of the Universe and of God. To destroy ourselves or the world around is an insult and we need to love ourselves first. Then love and teach children the same.

I deeply thank my neice Sarah for intorducing this Care 2 site to me. I cannot even describe to You the amount of meaning it has given to me in my personal existence, at this stage of my life. I finally feel that I have a voice about the so many things that I have always cared so much about. I just passionately Love God's gift of this earth to Us as humans. The Planet, The Animals, Nature, The Natural World, Human Beings and the knowledge of the impact of Human Beings on This Earth. So, Thank You for Who ever came up with this avenue of expression. It has significantly impacted my recent life. It has given me a voice. Thank You! God Bless All Of You !!! I hope it helps everybody significantly!!! That is my prayer!

I am just now learning how wonderful the Care2 community is. I now have the possibility of friends and friendship that was not possible in my busy years of mommyhood, work, and school (college late in life-better late than never). And it's great that everyone here loves the earth and it's inhabitants in the way family cares for one another. Hugs are sent thousands of miles to comfort or congradulate others we barely know personally but admire (their convictions and interests). Isn't this the way our world should be? Thank you Joy for putting what I, too, feel into words. Love to all-SL

Wish I COULD GIVE YOU A GREAT BIG HUG DAILY! THANKS FOR YOUR KINDNESS, LOVE, APPRECIATION OF LIFE, THE GIFT YOU ARE;

Stop killing "our" Wolves in Alaska and the USATarget:President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick ChaneySponsored by: tan's alt movement:
President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Chaney:
On behalf of the following petitioners, PLEASE STOP the AERIAL GUNNING
SLAUGHTER on "OUR" wolves in Alaska. Today would be a wonderful day to do exactly that. If you care, as you claim to, about all American Citizens; I ask you this question. "HOW CAN YOU ORDER AND ALLOW such an HORINDOUS and INEXCUSIBLE COLD-BLOODED ASSAULT on one of America's most beloved and revered creatures, THE WOLF?"..........So help me, I cannot see a dog lover allowing this travesty of justice. PLEASE ReCONSIDER your decision and orders to exterminate one of "GOD'S" most noble creatures. The wolf is an integral and absolutely a necessary part of the "real west", the natural eco-system. I had hoped you would value the life of at least a WOLF. If you would educate yourself just a "bit" about the part a WOLF plays in the natural order of things. HE is very very important. Help "SAVE" one of GOD'S most majestic and social creatures, the wolf, and you will not be remembered as the one who made absolutely sure the WOLF becomes extinct. The sad part is, the cowardly fashion by the shooter, in which the WOLF must face death! We, The American People HAVE MOST DEFINITELY seen it. Many videos and activists will never allow this one to go away. Thank you, sirs, for taking the time to consider this urgent issue; and please do the Right Thing this time.

Thank you, Joy. I was uninspired this morning and I think it was because of fate that I found this page. I don't want to sound corny, but you truly touched my heart with the light that shined from your post.

Joy you are indeed a Beautiful Soul and with all the Love in your heart that goes out to others are highly exceptable. We all came to this Planet to experience Love and Sharing with others is indeed the most of anyone of us can do without a doubt, although each of us have a unique journey to experience if we pass one another thru this lifetime as we are on Care2 it makes a big difference in our lives, there are some unfortunately that have not got the wisdom to reach out & experience the Love for they have not come back to Earth to experience Love they are Dark Entities and create havoc upon their bypassers? some of them can be saved by people as yourself or others here on Care2 they need Compassion,Gratitude, in their hearts and then some you will never be able to help, they have already made a choice to do what they want others without remorse. So Be It!!

You have best intentions. Did you ever go to "people" and browse the members list? You will see that less than 4% of the members of Care2 are active in doing something good. But ALL of them pretend that they want to do this and that. And they do nothing in Care2! So many members without butterflies make me wonder.
Saturday August 30, 2008, 2:54 am
I just recently joined and am finding my way around also. With a world so filled with violence, killing, destruction and greed, my faith has been renewed after seeing such genuine, kind and compassionate people here, that really care about others, animals and the environment. I feel blessed to have found this large community of people who are committed to making the world a better place in which to live.

Yes, I agree with you. Let us all try our best to fruitful your dream to reality by contributing our careful thoughts in a systematic manner. Love to you and all to Care2 brothers and sisters.

I was feeling for the 1st week so bereft and wouldn't you know when I checked my email on the 1st day of finding my car stolen-I got on my email
and found more than usual messages from friends on Care2. How could they know I really needed friends that day! It is a wonderful network we share. Thanks~

Vanishing Cats?
Lynx are barely hanging on. Stronger habitat protections will give them a fighting chance as development and climate change encroach upon their forest homes.
Did you know?
Right now, lynx can be found in Colorado, Idaho, Minnesota, Montana, Washington, Wyoming -- and Maine.
Lynx need peace and quiet to breed and raise their young.
Lynx have huge paws that act as snowshoes to help them hunt their main prey -- the snowshoe hare.
Lynx are easily recognized by their long legs, short tails with a black tip, and tufted ears.
Dear Jacinthe,
Everyone needs a home, but lynx are running out of places to go. Even though these wild cats have enormous paws, they need a helping hand from caring people like you to have a future in the lower 48 states.
These rare and beautiful mountain forest cats are barely hanging on -- and federal officials need to know that Americans support protecting the habitat lynx need to survive.
Take action now to show your support for lynx!
In 2000, after a long and uphill battle, the federal government finally recognized lynx as a threatened species under the Endangered Species Act. But eight years later, protections are still lacking on the ground, where lynx need it most.
Designating “critical habitat” for lynx is the best tool we have to identify and preserve the areas that these vanishing cats need to survive -- and to restore them to places where they naturally belong.
In 2006, a senior Bush appointee resigned after admitting to manipulating scientific findings for political reasons in the original critical habitat proposal for lynx, and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service was court-ordered to go back to the drawing board.
Now, federal officials have issued a revised critical habitat proposal for lynx. And while it's a step in the right direction, the plan still falls short of offering the level of protections these rare forest cats need to survive.
Take action now to voice your support for stronger habitat protections for these special cats.
The Bush Administration's plan
doesn’t include habitat protections in Colorado, where a reintroduction program is already in full swing;
leaves out vital habitat corridors that lynx use to travel and connect with each other;
and could also exclude important lynx habitat on private lands in Montana and Maine because of pressure from timber companies and their political allies -- the type of political interference that corrupted this process the first time around.
Time is running out for our lynx. The deadline for public comment on the new proposal is Thursday, November 20th, so please take action now to let the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service that you support stronger habitat protections for lynx.
Thank you for taking action to giving lynx a fighting chance.
Sincerely,
David Gaillard
