"My dear friends from all over the world and members of this cause, THURSDAY , Sept.23, the Romanian Parliamentary Committee for Public Administration, Territorial Planning and Ecological Balance will meet , far from Bucharest !!!!!!!! to discuss the management of stray dogs and the best way to solve the problem of overpopulation...

Unfortunately, the amendments made to the existing Law for the protection of animal in Romania, stood un-debated, although approved by the Senate, for more than two years, and NOW, the Committee decided to "debate" (and most likely approve ) the amendments proposed by the Prefect of Bucharest ( Mr. Atanasoaie) and his acolytes...people who hate animals, people who do not care about Romania's image in the world, with all these daily massacres....

They want to : kill the animals after 7 days of stay in a municipal shelter, they want to introduce very harsh requirements for adoption, the do not want any non governmental charity to have access to the municipal pounds...they want to legalize the killing of healthy animals, they do not want to choose a human and civilized approach.... and indirectly they will promote even more corruption...

It is imperative for the Romanian officials to know what you think and feel about every thing going on in Romania with the animals.
PLEASE< copy/past the sample letter provided and send it a.s.p. to the emails provided....and PLEASE from the portal with Romanian Embassies, choose the one in your country, and if there are more than one email, please copy/past all emails from that given Embassy...
