I have been baking this cake for years and years, It turns out every single time. The good thing is that it does not need any eggs. I hope you enjoy it as much as my family have. It's a little piece of heaven. From my house to yours. MM Good 

1 1/2 cups sifted flour  
3 tablespoons cocoa
1 teaspoon baking soda            
1 cup white sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
5 tablespoons cooking oil
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup cold water

Sift the flour, cocoa, sugar and salt into a mixing bowl. Mix together, then make 3 holes in the dry mixture. Into one , pour the oil, into the next, pour the vinegar, into the third, put the vanilla. Now pour the cold water over it all and beat with a spoon until it is nearly smooth. Pour into a 8x8 ungreased cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Add whatever you like for an icing. This cake is very moist .
