PETITION

It would seem in this age of globalization when what one man does can effect us all, that it would be advisable to test our leaders for probity, sanity, capacity and intelligence.

We the undersigned suggest that those vying for highest offices in government and industry be subject to standard tests as to their rationality, health, morality, intelligence and general capacity to understand and make decisions on those matters with which they deal in their duties as administrators.

We propose the following tests:-

1)      Sanity- A blood test has recently been developed in Australia which can classify those undergoing it as to which branch of insanity they belong

2)      Health-a general health checkup of vital organs and general well being

3)      Capacity

A University entrance exam, any entrance exam for the public service ,a questionnaire on statistics and economic theory ,perhaps an interactive test utilizing  decision making via games theory

     4) Probity

A check on any criminal records, a Rorshag test, a check on financial dealings and any vested interests of both themselves and their family

We feel that all and even any of these tests would contribute to public safety world wide

We also are of the opinion that  such tests applied as mandatory to all CEO’s of large Corporations, and Members of the Board and all concerned in the issue and circulation of money, stocks and bonds  could be advisable

All humankind is dependent on the actions of these people and that they can function optimally is perhaps the most essential item in the continual existence of this planet

While I completely agree with you, Penelope, I don't think this petition would work in the USA. Those at the top would crush it. However, if you decide to do it,I'll sign.
One correction- it's Rorschach test.
Peace, Mairead
