Now is te time when all group members to come forward and gel as one. We now are forming the nexis of a future for rights that can and will envelope most of the globe. We have now a group host and co-hosts starting to come forward. I hope that many concerns will be brought forward and discussed. I hope that this group of many different race, religions, and creeds, will now get more active and participate in their discussions and posts. I hope that many members will now feel more comfortable in the aspect that we can act as the group should in bringing issues to the front for all issues dealing with minority rights and issues that should be intergrated into the groups! I hope we do not get a negatism in this group, as is in other groups on care 2, because nothing is ever solved in arguments and I am hoping that we can get the issues of rights brought under the spotlight. There are many rights to deal with around the globe, and it is time to bring it into the open. So please members let us not forget why we are here and try to stay on the topic being discussed. I hope we see no FLAMING or CUTDOWNS of other members trying to bring forth their thoughts on rights confronting them and important to members. If you do not understand totally on a discussion, please ask to understand what is being said before jumping the gun... Please do not be afraid to bring your thoughts forward in a manner which can be discussed in a friendship way. Remember, everyone their are many different folks from different countrys around the world! If you do not understand, due to lack of english understanding, don't feel bashful about not understanding the subject... I hope we have a wonderful group that can gel and work with each other, with patience, logic, care, and friendship. I WELCOME YOU TO THIS OUTSTANDING, SPECTACULAR, AND WONDERFUL GROUP, NOW AND IN THE FUTURE....THANK YOU MEMBERS FOR KEEPING THIS GROUP GOING WITH NO HOSTS, THESE MANY MOONS PAST! I FEEL WE CAN BECOME A MOST INFORMATIVE AND ACTIVE GROUP...Your new Host TomH

Thomas, what you have written is truly inspiring, and I thank you. Tolerance, patience, compassion, wisdom, forethought - these are all important attributes we all need to work on, regardless of where we come from, if we are going to get even one step closer to genuine global peace.
Thankyou for this share, Thomas. You are changing lives RIGHT NOW...

Thomas, Thank you for rising to the occasion. There are NO accidents in life and I look forward to the discussions. We are all now "Coming of Age" and it is time to put a stop to the rot!
I agree with GreyOne DB; you are already changing lives. May we unite and MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

Hello to all who are reading. :)
Today, I am new to this site. I had it's mainpage on my computer for about a month now, since I was looking up information that would be helpful to the staff and youth at a homeless Youth shelter and Drop-in centre I work at.
I come here, to this site, to hopefully find guidance in my care work with these youth. I hope to find some educative information (I plan to do some gathering) of articles I may take back to my work.
I find some very simple ......... "morals" I guess I'll call them ........... have been lost, but could be found again, with just the simple teaching or re-teaching of life's simplest rules and lessons.
Call me "Old School" if you like, but I was raised on some very loving but strict rules for my life to be able to reach a point of comfort, a comfort between me, nature, and other peoples. I don't understand how these very simple teachings were missed by some.
So, in my line of work, I seek to find the answers to the questions like .... "How do we learn these simple ways-of-life?"; "How do I practice these teachings?"; and other questions that never were a question not too many years ago.
I'm asking this comunity, on this Care2connect internet site, to please, you have access to my email address here, forward to me any information that you see 'fitting' to my purpose here.
I work with youth ages 13 to 24 in Canada. Some are homeless, some are not. But we all have issues we could work on to better our lives, and these such issues are what I would like responses to, information of, workshop ideas for.
And to the moderators of this site, I say Thankyou, for providing us in the internet world, a space to find, read, take-away with us, some very good information. Cheers!
May we all strive to make life comfortable and enjoyable for each person we pass in a day. :)
