One Tree Hill Season 9 Episode 7 Last Known Surroundings

Lucas returns to Tree Hill to help Haley. Meanwhile, Nathan tries to escape; Julian finds evidence to aid Dan's search for Nathan; and Brooke meets Xavier

One Tree Hill chronicles the lives of two half brothers, their friends and their family as they make their way through high school, marriage, then adulthood. Living in the small town Tree Hill, NC, Lucas Scott and Nathan Scott have nothing to do with each other. When Lucas is recruited to play on the same basketball team as Nathan at the local high school, their rivalry ignites and drama soon follows as their once separate lives are joined together.

CW released new ‘One Tree Hill’ episode 7,season 9 intense spoilers & clips. Earlier tonight,CW dropped the new spoilers and sneak peek, clip (below) for the upcoming “One Tree Hill” episode 7,and it looks very intense, once again,as the search for Nathan continues, and we get to see Lucas return! The episode is called, “Last Known Surroundings.”

In the new episode 7, Haley is going to seek help from Lucas as Nathan makes an escape attempt. Brooke is going to come face-to-face with Xavier. Julian will uncover evidence that assists Dan in his search for Nathan. Clay is going to make a connection with another patient. Nathan is seen, telling his kidnapper, “I’m not afraid of you.”

Lucas is seen, telling Haley, “Nathan will come home.” Dan is seen, studying hard to try and find Nathan. It’s getting real intense, and I think we know why we see Dan with a gun later on in the season. He’s probably gonna try to pop caps on these kidnappers. That’s gonna be so damn cool.

One Tree Hill season 9 continues next week with episode 7, "Last Known Surroundings," and promotional photos are now out showing Chad Michael Murray's return as Lucas as the search for Nathan Scott continues.

OTH Season 9 Episode 7 "Last Known Surroundings" Promotional Photos and Spoilers

Nathan's still missing (and trying to find his own way home, as seen in the sneak peek), and Haley has turned to her best friend for help. It's the perfect storyline to get Lucas back for an episode. His best friend needs him, and it's his brother who has been taken. As the promo already teases, Haley and Jamie are going to be on hand to meet Lucas at the airport when he returns to tree hill, and the majority of the photos show Lucas hugging Haley and Jamie. Haley's going through a tough time right now, and she needs her best friend. Of course he's going to be there for her.

Though Hilarie Burton isn't returning to reprise her role as Peyton, she's reportedly going to be mentioned, and Lucas still has on his wedding ring, so there's no worry that their happy ending dissolved since they've been gone. Just these quick shots make it evident that One Tree Hill season 9 wouldn't be complete without more scenes with Haley and Lucas and Lucas and Jamie. It's too bad that there aren't going to be any scenes between Lucas and Nathan, considering how prominent their storyline as brothers was in earlier seasons. In fact, besides that, the only complaint so far for this reunion is Lucas' hair. The longer hair is a much different look than what fans are used to seeing from Chad Michael Murray as Lucas, and it's really hard not to keep noticing it.

Right now, it's Haley and Jamie waiting for Nathan to come home, and the last episode did show her telling their son that Nathan's missing. You have to love the photo of mother and son hugging, and while Haley has to be strong for him, she's going to need Lucas to be strong for her and reassure her everything will be okay. But even with him trying to do that, it's not exactly easy for her to do that.

What do you think of the One Tree Hill season 9 episode 7 spoilers for "Last Known Surroundings"?

We’re hitting the halfway mark of One Tree Hill the final season and while “Catastrophe and the Cure” may have been more of a catastrophe, there were still a few moments worth smiling about. Though for the most part, the tone of this episode may have reminded viewers of our least favorite moments on the show in the past.

“Anything I can do?” -Mouth

“Yeah. Go easy on the carbs.” – Dan

At this point, Nathan (James Lafferty) is officially reported missing and is trying to figure out why exactly a group of gangsters want to kill him. Apparently, basketball is taken far too seriously overseas in the world of One Tree Hill. Sure, these gangsters added an element of danger that we must take seriously since we do not know who exactly is going to be the one to die by the time the series is over. At the same time, the way that it was presented made this entire story line laughable because of its soap opera tone… you know, what we all thought we left behind after Nanny Carrie. If Nathan is indeed the one to die, having it done this way is going to completely ruin the fans who have been watching from the very beginning. Whether or not he is the one, this story line in particular really needed a lot more work before coming to us the way that it did.

So the moment finally came when James (Jackson Brundage) overheard Haley (Bethany Joy Galeotti) pushing Dan (Paul Johansson) away. Young as James may be, he’s been exposed to enough at this point to be told that there are bad people in the world (or good people who do bad things, however you want to spin it) and Dan is one of those people. At the same time, Haley does not have the whole story and while protecting her family is and should be her number one priority, Dan could very well be a great asset in getting Nathan back. Mouth (Lee Norris) didn’t want to but even he went to Dan with his findings to better everyone’s chances of finding Nathan. Sometimes you have to be willing to do what you do not want to do in order to get where you want to be. That said, the writers have never disappointed us with Haley so there should be nothing to worry here.

Then there’s the love triangle of the season. Chase (Stephen Colletti) comes really close to getting caught with Tara by her boyfriend, Chris Keller (Tyler Hilton) at the apartment but relief lasted for a just a bit longer. That was a good scene… probably the most hysterical of the night. Chase evaded being caught in just the nick of time. It wasn’t until Brooke Davis (Sophia Bush) spilled the beans to Keller about Chase and Tara did Keller discover the truth. This reveal was perfect. The old Brooke would have taken great delight in spilling such dirt. To see how much these characters have grown and matured over the years, it is such a treat. Keller can be added to that list of characters after he decided to not go all This Means War on Chase. And it was important to see Chris Keller perform at Karen’s Cafe one last time, so to see that the writers slipped this in here… we are very grateful.

Meanwhile, Quinn (Shantel VanSanten) was still struggling to keep Clay (Robert Buckley) safe as he showed no signs of getting better. Viewers have either never connected with these two characters or grown to be content with their presence… but either way, this all seems to be taking away time from the main characters who we really want to see as much as possible of before the series is over. With Chad Michael Murray returning as Lucas Scott in next week’s episode, it sure would be wonderful to get a break from these two altogether. Next week is going to be one unforgettable night that you will not want to miss and is definitely going to make up for this lackluster episode. Stay tuned!
