A Japanese was in his history class as an exchange high school student fom Japan. His teacher was teaching history of USA. To make the class engaging, teacher decided to quiz the class on some quotes from famous people in the USA.
She is going say a famous quote, the students would answer with the name of the person who said it and when.
“I am not a crook”. she said. The class went silent. The exchange student rasied his hand. Teacher said
“Go ahead”. He said “Richard Nixon, 1973″. The teacher nodded.
She then said “Buy one. Get one free”. Again the class went silent. Once again the exchange student raised his hand,
stood up and said “Bill Clinton, 1992″. The teacher was amazed and students looked to each other and began to
wonder who was this exchange student.
As the teacher looked down to read something, a student blurted out from the back of the class, “Damned Japanese”.
The whole class turned and looked to the direction of the student. The teacher was besided herself for what had
“Lee Iacocca, 1982″, the exchange student exclaimed.
