For the past few weeks now when I sign a petition on thepetitionsite, I use my real name which is Barb Knight and a little while later my profile name BarbCat Sunshine Lady gets switched over to Barb Knight and I am disgusted with it!

I've alerted Care2 about this saying I never had this problem a few months ago and they've passed the word on to other C2 Techs leaving me hanging. I must go back to my profile and change my name back to BarbCat Sunshine Lady every time I sign a petition. Is anyone else having the same problem?

Not exactly, but messages are now going to the wrong email address and my zip code has never been right even though it is correct on my profile page. The first "0" (zero) is dropped and I have to add it. And it has twice shown that my wife signed the petition when I was logged on. Hope your problem is fixed...and soon.

Hi Barb. I am having trouble with some of my info not coming up and on my Care2, my petition site/ profile.
My name is OK, but they have me living in Canada and Alaska and my postal code as 00000. I can not change this info, but I can change my name.
I also sent this to petition site and techs are looking at it. I was told to fill all my info in the same way and it would revert, back, but it does not. I did try changing the name then resetting it and logged out of Care2 then back in. I signed several petitions and changed the name back to it's usual and when I checked the profile it was back to normal. Techs, are still looking into it. You should be able to change your name back.

I'm having the same name issue Barb. I hope they get it fixed soon. Mine just started for me. There is a reason I use Dandelion, but like you, I sign petitions with my legal name.

Hi Barb - and Dandelion - I also sign petitions with my real name, or part of it, and my profile name also changed. It happened a few years ago, no idea why it's suddenly back again.
I had the same problem and wrote to Care2 Support about it. I believe they are looking into it, but of course we don't know how long that will take.
At least we bother to put our names in, so many people here sign profiles with their Care2 alias, which makes their signature worthless.

Did not have to deal with this problem yet (using my real name..), but there are other issues I never get a solution offered for, no matter how often I mail them. Good luck to all of you/us...

I feel your frustration but I myself am not having any issues right now. I was having problems with sending out cards - I simply couldn't due it for a while but it is ok now.

Hi Barbcat, I had to change my name back the other day and will see today as I just signed a couple of petitions. I am like you, my profile name is not my real name, but use my real name for signing petitions. I have had lots of problems sending e cards, esp doing a reply so I don't try any more. Wish C2 would fix these problems. LOL TX for sharing.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Mm M. (425)

Sweetie Always happens to me...Thus, I sign all of the petitions I can at one time, then get back to my profile and Change it back. Another way I do get by it ~ if I plan to attempt to be on my laptop awhile I just put my first initial M and my last initial M, thus you end up seeing MM not Mm or Marilynn, I have ended up confusing people especially changing my avitar a couple of times...Does this help? It is just the way it is...Like I had my profile hidden and once you leave a comment or sign a petition your profile appears. It is a hassle, but I do deal with it, but sometimes just forget....thus the initials! So you would be BK for awhile!!! Not bad, then when you're done signing petitions get to your profile and chg it back...if you forgot everyone knows who you are anyway!!! WE ALL KNOW OUR BELOVED BARB!!!! Hugs and Lova ya sweetie...Hope this helps. Mm

This past week I had many b'day ecards, (not my b'day) sent to home and care2. Some were rude and crude. Sent tech a message.

Hi Barb, I just checked in and read this share you posted. I have not had that issue but have sent notifications about other issues.
The birthday 'thing' happened to me several months ago.
I'm sorry you have had to endure this at Care2 & I sincerely hope they get these technical 'glitches' fixed.
Enough is enough.
Much love to you my cyber sis *_*
