International Green Yoga Conference

The second annual International Green Yoga Conference will be taking place May 18-20th in the Santa Cruz moutains of California. Mount Madonna Center will be hosting the event at their conference and retreat center located on 355 acres of mountain-top redwood forest and grassland overlooking Monterey Bay, between Santa Cruz and Monterey, in Northern California.

Attendees have the option of tent camping, car camping, or staying in one of the center's tents, cabins or rooms.

"This historic gathering will offer experiential workshops to deepen your connection to the Earth & classes with leading scholars on the connections between Yoga philosophy & ecology." During the weekend you will experience how healing the body and healing the planet come together in Yoga through:

  • Yoga practice sessions both indoors and out
  • Green Yoga workshops integrating philosophy and practice
  • Keynote addresses with leading scholars and teachers
  • Kirtan (chanting around a fire circle)
  • Community-building discussion groups
I signed up already to get the early bird discount through Mount Madonna Center (before March 1st). Good news...if you sign-up through the Green Yoga Association the early bird deadline isn't until March 15th.
