Lauren's Sharebook 

Simon was my baby.  He was loved and he will be missed.  Simon was born 10/1995 and he passed away 09/01/2011.  He was there for me through so much.  When he got sick it took a long time for me to face the fact that he was not going to be around much longer.  I finally realized that it would be just selfish of me to keep him around for my benefit.  The last few days he was with me was the most difficult time of my life.  Finally, he had to be put to sleep.  I cried SO much, for days.  I thought I would never get over it.  I then began to realize that one day I would be with him again.  That is what I take comfort in.  He taught me so many things, like how to love unconditionally and so much more.  I am a better person for having Simon in my life.
