Denmark and Portugal will meet in both teams' second Group B match Wednesday at New Stadium Lviv in Lviv, Ukraine. Denmark had gained a shocking victory over the Netherlands last Saturday. And now Denmark head into Wednesday's match with a good recent performance and record against Portugal, with the two teams having been in the same qualifying group for both Euro 2012 and the 2010 World Cup. In the four qualifying matches over those two campaigns Denmark defeated Portugal twice and drew once.

 Denmark has the FIFA ranking of 10. Denmark head coach, Morten Olsen is quite confident that another victory against Portugal will pave their way into the quarter-finals of Euro 2012. Denmark’s probable line up for the Wednesday’s game include: Stephan Andersen, Daniel Agger, Simon Kjaer, Simon Poulsen, Lars Jacobsen, Niki Zimling, William Kvist, Christian Eriksen, Michael Krohn-Dehli, Dennis Rommedahl, Nicklas Bendtner.

 On the other hand, Potugal has opened its Euro 2012 campaign with a 1-0 loss to Germany. Portuguese Head coach Paulo Bento will have to build his team's goalscoring confidence before they face the Danes as they need to stay in the Euro competition.

 Portugal owns a FIFA ranking of 5. Bento has said: "There are no favourites tomorrow. Of course, Denmark are better placed but we'll give 100% and, having beaten them before, we know we can beat them again." Cristiano Ronaldo and Nani need to show their best performance against the Denmark as they did in the qualifying matches against them, to get their team into the Quarter finals. The probable playing squad for Portugal includes: Rui Patricio, Pepe, Bruno Alves, Fabio Coentrao, Joao Pereira, Miguel Veloso, Joao Moutinho, Raul Meireles, Helder Postiga, Nani, Cristiano Ronaldo.

 Denmark would have been drawn out as favourites to rush into the next stage if ha they been in a group other than the group of death. However, Wednesday’s game will decide the future of both the teams as Portugal has the better players while Danes got the fighting spirit.
