i am a student participant and organizer of one of the fundraisers conducted by the andover rotary club in andover, ma. we are collecting new disposable cameras to donate to children in depressed areas. our plan is to take pictures with our own digital cameras provided by our high school to its students for use, and take inspirational pictures. we will be holding a photo exhibition in the spring of all our work, and will auction off all our prints. there will be small admission fee, but free for the children, and all money will be donated to establish an art program at their school. please please please contact me if you are willing to donate the new cameras you mentioned you have. my email is bhc@comcast.net

If this still stands (cameras) please get in touch - we could really use the cameras for a project we are running at the school.

Our school would love to have any donated cameras. Our fifth graders are going to DC for the first time and we would love for them to have cameras to document their trip. Please contact me at jvanhall@wcpss.net
Thanks,
Janet

I know I am arriving at this post very late in the game, and not even sure if the offer still stands, but I work with a non-profit clinic, Primeros Pasos, in Quetzaltenango Guatemala and we strive to provide better quality care to some 10 communities housing 15,000 residents. As a part of this process, we provide health education classes to all the children that come to the clinic or whom we see in the surrounding schools to support preventive care in addition to curative care. This approach, therefore, allows kids and their families have access to information, even when they cannot come to or afford a doctor. In working on improving our health education program, we hope to use disposable cameras in some of our classes so students can document what they learn. Thank you either way for your generosity. you may contact me at aashaw06@gmail.com or check out our clinic site at www.primerospasos.org.

My daughter is in 5th grade and graduating this year into middle school. The parents/school give a party to the 5th graders every year. The theme for this years party is "New York City" and I am on the entertainment committee. We were looking for disposable cameras for each student to take their own pictures at the party. We have 110 students. Would you be interested in donating some of them to the 5th grade? Thanks!!
