Hi my Care2 friends,

A quick but important favor... I’m a Founder of a new campaign to get politicians to represent us and not just big money lobbyists. What's happening this year with super PACs and $50,000-a-plate fundraisers is sickening and it must stop.

I have committed to getting my friends to sign their names as “Citizen Co-Sponsors” of a sweeping reform proposal that will end all this legalized bribery.

The solution is simple. No campaign donations from corporations or people. Basically, that optional dollar that one can select to fund campaigns by checking the box on one's tax form. Make it mandatory and then whatever amount is available...split it between the top five parties. If the capitalists, i.e. Republicans and Democrats, really are so much better than the Greens, the Justice party, and others, then let them prove it on an even playing field.
