What are the best opera glasses? I ask myself this often, especially as my eyes continue to deteriorate. The beauty of opera is in the action. It took me a long time to realise that listening to recordings was not the best way to get acquainted with opera but good seats are so expensive! To get in, see the action, and understand the plot of an opera or musical you may need to invest in a good pair of opera glasses. Here is a selection of opera glasses that are all rated highly by opera and theatre goers. Some of these opera glasses and lightweight binoculars adapt equally well to ball games and birdwatching too!
