Location:Romania
PLEASE express your opinion!

Yesterday, a Japanese man had died in Bucharest (Romania) because of bite injuries. Nobody knows how exactly this incident happened (it is belived that it was a breed dog and it was actually in a yard), but media blames the stray dogs and is encouraging a histerical massive KILLING campaign !!!

The authorities are now thinking about KILLING THEM ALL after a 72 hours truce!

A Romanian TV channel is asking for our opinion, please, express yours at:

The POOL is in Romanian and the translation in english is as follows:
How do you think the problem of stray dogs should be solved?
·        The euthanasation of strays (first answer)
·        THE NEUTERING OF THE STRAYS (SECOND)
·        By giving a fine to those feeding the strays (third)

If you want to post a comment they ask you about your Name, Occupation and City (Country) (first row at the bottom of the pool) and then the Comment (second row).

You’ll find the questions in Romanian; in the bottom right corner (I highlighted the exact paragraph)

Thank you and, please take action!

This is how that paragraf looks in Romanian:

Obviously the only human solution is to neuter the strays. The problem would be solving itself within a decade and without brutality or ignorant solutions as the killing has proved to be. We could also ask how strays are generated-by abandoming dogs to themselves. As no dog or cat materializes itself in our living rooms I suppose some people want them and take them-BUT what I don't get is how such people can simply abandomn them afterwards-THOSE people should be severely punished-not their dogs and the children and grandchildren of their dogs, as happens today.
Let's stop this insanity!

Someone wrote to me that humans are more important and that an overwhelming number of dogs will have to be killed in order to save the population. Well, I can't agree with this and there's only one answer possible: The problem really lies somewhere else: if there is an overwhelming number of dogs straying around it is HUMAN fault-as humans left them straying without taking care of them - and beacuse nobody neutered them. In my country wherever it is possible the health services neuter them for free in order to avoid a superpopulation which would create problems to humans or to the other strays concerning food or territorial problems.
First step: NEVER ABANDOMN AN ANIMAL
Second step: neuter the strays
Third step: feed them and provide to make them live a worthliving life-as far as we can do it-also in order to let them digest what other humans did to them by mistreating or abandoming them.
We are guilty and we shouldn't try to put our guilt aside by killing the witnesses!
