Please view the video from CNN and message from Debra a Volunteer Cat Rescuer in Queens. Help is needed in whatever form you have to give---DONATE, RESCUE, ADOPT, FOSTER, TRANSPORT or other talents you have to offer.

Staten Island looks like a war zone. It is decimated in some parts.
There are cats there that are not feral. They are friendly. They are living outside, and as many of you in this part of the country know, it's getting cold.
There is a man on Staten Island who is caring for many cats in a house that is toxic. He and the cats are there--there is no where for them to go. If they are taken, they will be bought to CACC and killed. They are euthanizing cats surrendered or taken as 'strays' immediately now.
Help is needed.
If folks would be willing to foster one cat, it would make a
difference. We have 2 fosters here in a small apartment. It brings our
total up to 7.
I know many of you may be too far away to do anything. I am providing
the Guardian's of Rescue's #. They have been there every day, doing
everything they can. They need, most urgently, foster homes for cats.
They, themselves, located on Long Island, were effected by the storm,
but Staten Island has really been hit.
I would ask if anyone could help-please. One by one, we can't do much,
but together-we can move mountains.
