Hi my name is Chris and we are the Campbell family from a little town called Lansing, NC. My daughter is Jaysa and is a gift sent from God. She is 8, in the 3rd grade, and in a wheelchair. Our year started out really bad. In Feb Jaysa started having seizures. It was the worst time in our life. I had to watch my wife beg God not to take our little girl. I have never been so scared. While in the hospital she had a total of 6 seizures. My son is Keagon. Hes a firecracker in the 1st grade and is autistic. He saw his sister have the first seizure and I cant even imagine what he though. My wife is Sherry. She is going blind from diabetes and is highly depressed. She really has alot going on. Her family is her everything. Her dad, as I type, is in the hospital (which this makes the third time in two months). He has been fighting cancer since 2007 and is not well. We live 2 hours away and cant go up as often as needed. She thinks of him as her superman! Theres is nobody like him. Our car is not dependable for traveling which kills her.
We live on a very fixed income. Sherry has applied for disability but has been turned down twice so i had to call a lawyer. We scrap by each and every month. We barely make it day to day. We have to fight for everything er get. This year has been really rough. If I could have one wish I would wish for my kids to have a nice Christmas. If anyone would like to send an unwrap toy or item or even a Christmas card we would be so grateful. We didnt make the angel tree this year (only took 1000 kids and 300 kids are going without). Thank you for reading and please lift us up in prayer. Chris
