Who in their right mind thought that breeding a wild animal with a domesticated one was a good idea? And more importantly who in their right mind would want to buy one? I have been looking into this fairly recent phenomenon and am frankly fucking horrified. Firstly, these poor animals don't know if they should be demonstrating their wild or domesticated behaviour and secondly, theywill inevitably show signs of anxiety as a result of this. Not that it matters a great deal, most of the owners wouldn't know the difference if it jumped up and bit them on the arse! Of course once the cute little half wolf puppy turns into a massive powerful animal with a mind of it's own the owner can't cope. I watched a programme recently about a guy who took in one of these hybrids and now he has a full time occupation caring for abandoned pets. He is having to turn away more than he can accept and has only one thing to say on the subject. Any part or totally wild animal deserves to be roaming free and because these animals are in vogue right now it doesn't make it right to own one!
