This is exactly what has been on my heart and mind in the last few days.
The holidays are upon us and it can be a very joyful time of year.
Some of us have problems during the holidays and sometimes are overcome with great sadness when we think of or remember the loved ones who are no longer with us or too far.
And, many people have no one to spend these times with and are besieged by loneliness.
We all need caring and loving right now.
I ask my Care2 friends (and other good souls reading) wherever you might be, to share your thoughts here or on any other medium (like Facebook) to give a moment of support to all those who have family problems, health struggles, job issues, worries of any kind and just need to know that someone cares.
Do it for all, for nobody is immune.
I hope to see this posted on as many places as possible (by friends and strangers alike) just for moral support.
I received this from a friend elsewhere, added some of my own musings and posted it here and there, and I hope you also do the same.
I wish you a very Merry (whatever you celebrate) from my household to yours!
Also, if all of you can do just ONE kindness for another person (family, friend or complete stranger) in this holiday period (whatever holiday you celebrate), the world will at least vibrate a little more positively this year's end!
Think what just a coffee, a soup & a donut could do for a freezing starving lonely person and you will get the true meaning of the Holidays.
If you can do better than that, more power to you!
