I had a great day with my boys. It is amazing to me to watch them and the joy and discovery they have from every new day. I noticed something today that I can taste food again. Wow, who would smoke when it takes the taste from everything. I mean the red grapefruit that I ate part of for breakfast was so flavorful that it was amazing. The fish, and steamed cauliflower that was part of supper was amazing and the wheat bread that held my sandwich with fresh spinach leaves and green peppers on it for lunch was bursting with flavor. It's like discovering a whole new world.
I look forward to the ground turkey chili I am making tomorrow in the crock pot with black beans and red beans, bulgur wheat, zuchhini, onions, green peppers, mushrooms, corn and whatever other veggie I find to throw in oh yah I can't forget the home made canned tomato sauce that will be going into from last years garden. I am so excited about this coming years garden and all the fun that I will have with my family in the process.
I know it may sound like I ate all day long but I have been tracking roughly the food that I eat and the exercise that I get daily to have a rough idea of calories consumed and etc so that I know how much protien, iron etc I am getting and I can see where i fall short and understand why I am still losing weight and what it comes down to is I burn more calories daily then I eat on most given days okay just about every day lol.
I just keep trying and I will probably have a snack later on tonight some rice crackers or such or maybe an orange ? I think that right now its time for my nightly bath going to read a nice relaxing book and sip at some black tea and sweat the toxins that remain in my system out of me. One would think that over six weeks after having quit smoking and drinking all the toxins would be gone but I have to think that it is not the real case that they stay built up in your body for a long time after one quits the craziness of using them.
