Just wanted to share this with all of you on Care2:

Every day I wake up I just want to close my eyes and ears to the atrocious cruelty that goes on on a daily basis towards our beloved and precious animals.  There is many a time I say to myself, get off the site, don't go back on and torture yourself but to me animals are not a right, they are a privilege and my love for them knows no bounds.  I never stop praying and I get angry that God is not answering my prayers for the very animals he created.   We were meant to be their caretakers, but look at what we are doing to them, innocent, defenceless and voiceless and yet we continue with our barbaric cruelty.  Having said this, each and every one of you has brought something special into my life for which I thank you and knowing that we stand united in our quest to save and protect our animals, makes it all the more worthwhile to continue fighting for them.

wow my thoughts exactly.......I have days when all this cruelty and torture is sooo painful I just sit here and cry as I sign petitions after petition looking all these pictures that makes me literally sick.I have to do this as you say as I have to try and hope that it will make a difference to an animal. I have always been close to animals not people and I am thankful for them in my life ...they are my husbands and my family as we have kids that never even call...........nice to find someone who feels that same
