Invest in neutral tones for your workout clothes so you can use them more than once. This will make your clothing match, and it will be easier for you to pick clothes out if you are pressed for time. As a bonus, once your laundry bag or hamper of workout clothes is full, wash it all at once and you will have a bunch of fresh clean workout clothes with just one laundry load.

Do not follow the popular fitness programs if you think they are not for you. Joining a gym is not the only way to get exercise; there are different ways that you can be active. Adding variety to your workout routine can really help to keep you motivated.

Never fear that you are "too old" to use a gym or fitness center. Gyms are not just for young folks. Older people are just as welcome in gyms as are youngsters. You will find a program that makes you feel comfortable about staying fit at any age.
