Hello, first I would like to introduce myself, I am Sherry and I am a big cat person. I am brand new to this site and really don't know how it works yet. But I am hoping that someone could help me with my situation.

I have quite a few cats at this time and need some advice as to how I can legally keep them all.  I live in Washington State, and I know that I need to contact my local government officials about the "legal limit" but what I would like to know is, is there anyone who would have any advice in setting up a sanctuary for my current kitties.  Almost all my kitties are indoors, are well cared for, and very, very loved.  My mission is to get everybody fixed, and be able to keep all "our family" together.  I have some troublesome neighbors that see the kitties in the windows and try to cause issues for me.  I do not try to cause anyone any trouble ever, I mind my own business, I am not a loud neighbor and as far as I know not a trouble making kind of neighbor.  My neighborhood is not one of the friendliest of neighborhoods, nor are they as pet friendly as I would like. But all that aside, I would like to know if anyone could or knows anyone who could suggest a possible way of starting a sanctuary for my home/kitties.  Moving is not an option either, I have been here for over 20yrs. and own my own home.  So if there is anyone who could help it would be greatly appreciated.
