Truly, the world is full of unsung heroes- give credit where credit is due. Get used to politics and pop culture- these are people with the means and clout to really do whatever they do, many celebs have done a lot of good- using this clout and power. Welcome to lifestyle of the 21st century. The delivery of values have taken a different route- with globalization.
We can honor in our own simple and quiet way the women who have done their best  to stand up against all odds- women who are charged at an early age to be the caretaker of a family, who are at the forefront of equality, especially those who are considered " minority" . I didn't know there was a " majority. Women have taken great stride- in politics, the corporate world and other areas. Many names are unheard of- we honor them just the same without the hoopla of the media.

An article appears on Care2 accusing the Vatican, Iran etc. of hatred against women. This is going a bit too far. Not because I am a Catholic, but I have my eyes open wide to world issues/ events. After all, I am an information junkie.  Accus. ..
