Dear UK House of Parliament,

I would like the Law that states that a child that is born in England and Wales have to have lived in the UK for 7years before being granted UK Citizenship be reversed.

A Child does not choose where he or she is given birth to. A child has the rights to hold claim to the Country and place of where he or she was given birth to immediately he or she is born.

The Rights of a Child comes first as enshrined in the UK Laws, so first and foremost the Right of the Child being a Citizen to wherever him or her is given birth to should be respected no matter the years.

The Home Office either push aside or pass around applications that has the Rights of a Child. They neither act on it or make excuses that there are backlog applications.

To buttress my point an application was filed for Further Leave to Remain (FLR)O and acknowledged dated 05/04/2012 has still not being decided upon. The excuse given to the Member of Parliament(MP) that enquired twice about the application was told that there are backlogs so therefore they do not know when the application would be decided upon.

The Home Office indirectly told the Honourable MP that they have no control of time and human management. I had my MBA in a UK University and in one of the courses I learnt about Average Waiting Time. Is the Home Office now saying their is no Average Waiting Time for each applications given to a caseworker? If a caseworker falls sick another one should be able to pick up from where he or she has stopped and be able to decide on an application based on the tendered evidence and what the Law was when the application was made.

A Child has a Right to the UK immediately him or her is born in the UK no matter the Immigration Status of the Parents.
