This evening I saw a man being interviewed and wanted to know more. At Least for me, it confirms that each species of animal has its way of communicating, just like people of different cultures do. The problem is that the majority of humans think that they are so damned superior. We could learn so much from animals - yes another language! - but not through cruelty in all it's ugly forms. To me it's like thugs beating someone up because he doesn't speak English. Language is only the beginning of our bonding with animals and the gifts they have to teach us. They feel, have emotions, have strong family bonding, cognitive processes that are different but often similar and superior to humans. If we could see our way to relinquish these arrogant and pre-conceived ideas, my God the world would be on its way to such a better place. We have no right to demean others or animals.
And what's with the damn Spanish people that torture bulls endlessly to the point of lighting them on fire. That ignorance runs so deep it's sickening. Bulls are not cute and cuddly but they are 'entitled' to respect like all other animals being treated so sadistically.
