This pen is filthy dirty, and much of the time they are not fed. One dog actually has disappeared and the other one has been seen stumbling around in the pen and very week. I turned the owner in; who lives in a blue house, across the street from the Indinola Christian Church, in Indianola, Red Willow County, Nebraska, I've turned the owner in to the Humane Society but they didn't even come out to check on them. The dog that still remains in the pen, has matted fur, and obviously has not seen a vet in a very long time. His fur is somewhat long and is tangled, matted, and dirty. The pen is locked and on the property in the backyard near to the alley and street, and is out in the open for everyone to see. This dog is in this pen in the coldest of winters, and in the hottest days, and often is without water. No one has ever attempted to rescue it. Out here, dogs are considered property and no wants to interfere in another's life, unless of course they are unpopular. I guess letting a dog suffer year after year isn't a high priority to the people here.
Although they will kill the kittens of a stray cat in a heart beat, and have probably killed more than one pet kitten, thinking they were feral. Please write to Nebraska senators about this terrible situation; and please pray. Thank you! God Bless You, Donna
