Leper is a very unique and ground-breaking band from Chicago. Lives in a community house and proceeds from album sales go to homeless shelter/soup kitchens their commune operates there
The JPUSA community in Chicago was originally started by hippies, during the movement's hey-day, who embraced Christian faith.
Now they run several businesses, continue to live on as little as possible to give as much as posible, and run a homeless shelter that feeds over 50 people a day in Chicago.
Leper is signed on the JPUSA-owned Grrrr Records, which shunns the concet of signing only one genre and instead promote a plethora of unique musical styles.
When he is not touing and making music, Leper's front-man and mastermind Skot Shaw and hisbeloved wife Rachel also participate in JPUSA's charity work.
